Assessment Process
A simple process helps parents share concerns, attend an appointment, and discuss suitable next steps with the team.
Share your concern on WhatsApp, and our team will help arrange an appointment.
The appointment takes approximately 90 minutes at the centre. Existing reports may be brought.
Parents discuss the observations on the same day and consider suitable next-step recommendations.
When to reach out
Many families begin with observations, questions, or school feedback. A first conversation helps you decide whether an Assessment consultation is useful now.

Core support areas
Families can understand the main support areas first, then speak with the team about the child's current needs and suitable next step.

Structured support for learning, communication, attention, and development needs.
Learning support designed around each child's readiness, pace, and confidence.
Support for routines, social readiness, communication, and classroom participation.
Development support for independence, confidence, communication, and life skills.
Practical guidance so families can support growth beyond the centre.
The JM approach
JM starts by listening to what families notice at home, school, and daily life, then helps parents understand a practical support pathway.

The conversation starts with your child’s daily experience, strengths, and support needs.
Support is discussed around learning, communication, behaviour, readiness, and independence without reducing a child to a diagnosis.
Parents are guided on what to share, what to bring, and how observations are discussed after the appointment.
Leadership
JM's leadership team guides the academy's inclusive education direction across family support, services, and teacher development.
